Class 1 or 3 Driver/Industrial Operator

The Industrial Cleaning Operator and the Industrial Pipeline N2 Operator are responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of their equipment, as well as driving the equipment to site, rigging-in, and operating the unit as part of a growing interdependent team.
Responsibilities:
- Invest, contribute, and benefit from our engaging work culture in a safe & collaborative manner
- Perform routine maintenance on the trucks & equipment
- Attend pre-job safety meetings
- Perform pre and post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
- Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues
- Assist when required, with pre-job prep & pre planning
- Inform shop supervisor and staff of any mechanical deficiencies discovered with equipment
- Perform maintenance operations on units and auxiliary equipment
- Be able to participate in both Rig-In and Rig-Out operations
Experience & Skills:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license is required
- Pressure pumping experience is preferred
- High school diploma is an asset
- Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physically fit – heavy lifting required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Working Conditions:
- 15 days on/6 days off
- On call 24-hours during shift
- Pre-employment medical & drug testing required

Our drivers are resposible for the transportaion of oilfield rental equipment including over-dimensional drilling and completions equipment. - Checking load inventories against invoices for accuracy

- Returning equipment following use
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, the right candidate needs to be driven and have full mobility, adequate strength and exceptional customer service skills. Other qualifications include:
- A valid Class 1 license with experience driving a manual transmission, 10 speed or higher
- A clean driving record
- The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work varied days and hours
- 3 years of driving experience; highway driving experience considered an asset
- Store delivery experience considered an asset
- LCV certification considered an asset
